Opens on what you’re owed
Today puts one number first: the money still out. Each unpaid invoice is a segment of the blade, overdue ones labelled, with the next chase one tap away. Open an invoice and the level shows how far it is from paid.

What you sent stays what you sent
Issued means fixed
Once a quote or invoice is issued, its lines, totals and the customer’s details stay as sent. Changes become a revision or a dated scope note, and the original stays on file.
Corrections don’t rewrite history
A credit note is its own numbered document that reduces what’s owed without touching the invoice. A payment logged by mistake is reversed with a reason, and both stay in the history.
VAT, said plainly
Not registered? No VAT on anything. Registered? A VAT summary per rate on every document. If you work for other builders, you confirm the customer is the end user before an invoice goes out.
